Covid 19 has created a lot of fear and concerns for people around the country.
Unfortunately Michigan is a state that has been hit hard with the virus!
Because of the unknowns and uncertainty of this virus, we feel that is will be necessary to do business differently than we have done in the past.
Our very first concern is the safety of ourselves, as well as the safety of our guests! Our top priority has always been to have people come up North for a relaxing, enjoyable visit. Going forward, we’re afraid this may be somewhat of a challenge!
We are recommending that all persons staying in a cabin be from the same family. Our cabins are very small, and social distancing can be a problem.
There will be a limit of 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children per cabin.
Our next change is that our checkin time will be moved from 3 pm to 5 pm in order to give us extra time to clean and disinfect between guests.
Please be aware that we may have to cancel reservations and refund money in the event we find out that we had a Covid positive individual on our property!
We appreciate everyone’s understanding, and hope everyone will respect our Covid policies.

Enjoy Boating, Fishing, Water Skiing, Sight Seeing or Just relaxing on Beautiful Mullett Lake

Our Up North adventures started in 1999 when we decided to buy a set of fixer upper cabins on the Pigeon Bay in Indian River. We figured they were built in the late 40's or early 50's. We had a vision that other people did not see. But we showed them! They are now two adorable log cabins that will melt your heart when you see them! A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into renovating them! But it was worth the pain, and they have given us so much family pleasure!

Are you looking for a place for a family reunion, or maybe a retreat?? Contact us for discounts on multiple cabin rentals!

Joe and I have been married for over 40 years and have always been partners in adventure (rather than crime). We both share a love and passion for the Up North life style, and have enjoyed sharing it with our kids and our grand kids. We like to stay active, and both share the vision of what we can do with renovating little cabins that have been neglected!

Now here it is 2016 and we are taking on another wild adventure! We are hoping that we still have it in us to do what we did back in 1999, but on quite a larger scale! We are both young at heart, and are following our dream to own our own little private resort. We think it will be a lot of fun to watch other people have the opportunity to make precious family memories like we have made. Life is really quite short when you look at the big picture, and too many people let it pass on by without even seeing it go by. Their priorites sometimes blind side them, and when they look back they realize what they have missed out on. Don't let this happen to you! Spend quality time with your family while you can! The kids are only young for a short period of time, and before you know it they are young adults and have personal lives of their own. The memories they have as a child may dictate how they run their family life when they grow up and get married.

So anyway, we hope to make a lot of new friends on this ride and hope some of you will join us and enjoy the ride with us!!
